Cliprift is a privacy-first clipboard manager that syncs your clips across every device, instantly, securely, and without friction.
Our Story
You copy something on your laptop and need it on your phone. So you text yourself. Or open a notes app. Or paste it into a message thread you created just for this purpose. Your clipboard, the most fundamental interaction you have with a computer, is fragmented across every platform you use.
We built Cliprift because that experience is unacceptable. One clipboard, every device, always encrypted. No accounts to link, no ecosystem lock-in, no compromises. Copy on your desktop, paste on your phone. It should have always worked this way.
Cliprift exists because your clipboard should just work, everywhere, without thinking about it.
What We Believe
Your data is encrypted before it leaves your device. We literally cannot read your clipboard. That is not a marketing claim, it is an architectural decision baked into every layer of the product.
Every action is accessible via keyboard. Speed is trust, if it feels slow, you will stop using it. We obsess over milliseconds so you never have to reach for the mouse.
Same experience on Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android. Your clipboard should not care which device you are on. We handle the complexity so you never have to think about it.
Security
Cliprift protects clipboard data with TLS 1.3 in transit, AES-256-GCM at rest, and sensitive-content behavior that is visible in the product. End-to-end encryption arrives in v1.
Expires before it reaches another device.
Sensitive clip flagged. Auto-expire set to 15 minutes.
The sync status names the exact state instead of saying offline.
MacBook Pro
npm run launch:evidence
A new item lands with its source device and type visible.
Retrying setup
Device setup hit a temporary error. Cliprift will retry automatically.
Offline
You're offline. Cliprift is still capturing locally and will sync when the connection returns.
Each failure state tells the user what Cliprift is doing next.
