Our Story
You copy something on your laptop and need it on your phone. So you text yourself. Or open a notes app. Or paste it into a message thread you created just for this purpose. Your clipboard — the most fundamental interaction you have with a computer — is fragmented across every platform you use.
We built Cliprift because that experience is unacceptable. One clipboard, every device, always encrypted. No accounts to link, no ecosystem lock-in, no compromises. Copy on your desktop, paste on your phone. It should have always worked this way.

Security
Cliprift protects your clipboard data with multiple layers of security — AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS in transit, and automatic sensitive data detection. Every layer is designed so your data stays private, whether it is on your device, in motion, or stored in the cloud.
All clipboard data stored on our servers is encrypted with AES-256-GCM. Your data is unreadable at rest, even if storage were compromised.
Every connection between your devices and our servers uses TLS. Your clipboard data is encrypted from the moment it leaves your device.
Cliprift automatically detects passwords, API keys, and other sensitive content. Sensitive items can be auto-expired and excluded from sync.
